Job Description:
The Specialist provides organized and detail-oriented professional services for full cycle commission compensation support within the accounting division of a growing financial company.
Responsibilities:
1. Create the combined payment sheet and send it to AP
2. Create statements for each agent
3. Send Statements to each agent
4. Review the agent Commission Plan for any errors
5. Create entries for Commissions Payout
6. Complete setup for new agents in different systems
7. Update the Excel document with the commission’s plan for new clients
8. Assigned the commissions for unassigned clients in different systems
9. The agent´s statement was reviewed for errors.
10. Create entries related to Commissions accruals and payments in the accounting software
11. Organize and own the file for benefits commissions
Skills and Qualifications:
• Very good English language skills, both written and spoken
• Strong understanding and experience with accrual accounting
• Intermediate-advance level of understanding and experience with Microsoft Excel
• Communicates effectively in individual or group situations including demonstrating active listening skills
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, using accurate grammatical form, and able to read and interpret written information
• Ability to effectively interact with the customer base and maintain excellent customer relations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work effectively with other internal and external departments
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Problem-solving skills are mandatory as well as the ability to manage resources to complete team goals
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; strict attention to detail
• Willing to learn and to be part of a dynamic growing company.
• A high standard of integrity and sound business ethics
• A degree in accounting or a related field (advanced students accepted)
• 1 Year experience in accounting, at both transactional and analysis level
• Excellent computer skills: Excel, Word, and E-mail. A pivot table is a must.
