As a Banking Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting our bank's products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Answer customer inquiries via phone.
- Provide information on products and services, such as checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment options.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products and services.
- Account Management:
- Open and close accounts.
- Assist customers with account maintenance, including address changes and balance inquiries.
- Process loan applications and assist with loan servicing.
- Resolve account discrepancies and errors.
- Compliance and Security:
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, including regulatory compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Identify and report suspicious activity.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills, including active listening and empathy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including banking software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer service or banking role.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Certification in customer service or banking.
